During 22-28 January 2014, SHOUHARDO II of SUS
arranged 7 days long training course for 22 women and 5 men of Dharmapasha,
Joyoshree and Paikurati unions under Dharmapasha upazila by the technical assistance
of Youth Development directorate. The items of the training were to make
different materials by bamboo such as: busket, hand fan, sieve, fishing case
etc. The training was conducted at auditorium of Dharmapasha union parishad.
The UP chairmen, upazila executive officer, youth development officer, Md.
Harunur Rashid, program officer, CARE-Bangladesh and Sanwar Hossain Khan
Pathan, program manager, SHOURDO II of SUS observed the training corse. The
upazila executive officer encouraged the trainees to utilize the training in
their lives and it will help to eradicate poverty.He distributed tk.3000.00 to
each ultra poor trainee and tk.1500.00 to each poor trainee as capital money of
business.
