A Family got permanent destiny again

Asal Uddin is inhabitant of Gorokpur union of Haluaghat upazila of Mymensingh district. He is the father of four daughters and one son. Anjumanara is in 3^rd positions among the sisters and brother. Her father died when she was 3 years old. After her father died they fall into deep trouble. Her mother took responsibility of driving the wheel of family. During this time she lost her only son. After died of her only son she become like a storm-ravaged home. Anjumanara is growing up naturally. Many marriage proposals are coming from here and there. By the suggestion of her uncle’s her family took decision to arrange marriage of Anjumanara for reducing family burden.

Last 10 December 2010 they arrange marriage by registry of Anjumanara with Farid Mia, son of late Abdul Jalil of Pislakura village. After passing one year of happy marriage life the hazard has come in her regular life. She has been continuing her conjugal life by suffering combined oppression from her mother-in-law and husband. They continuously demand dowry of one lakh taka. With the passing of time oppression has been increasing. Anjumanara knew very well of economical condition of her parents. She refused to pay dowry. She has been bitten up by her husband on approximate 3.00 pm of 5 February of 2016. Helpless Anjumanara come back her parent’s house with her two sons Fahim (4 years 4 month) and Sowad (2 years 3month). After some days she wants to back her husbands house. She communicates with chairman and union MSP of Dhurail union Parishod. Chairman circulated a notice on 25 March of 2016 and a salish has been performed for settlement but Farid did not obey the decisions of salishi rather he informed that he is not interested to continue the conjugal life with Anjumanara. He did not composed; Farid sent a divorce notice to Anjumanara on 17 March of 2016. After getting the divorce notice Anjumara become upset. At that time she knows about the PESEAJ project of SUS. She wants help to the project officials.

Debshish took the complaint and he investigated the matter from Sabalamby Unnayan Samity (SUS). Debahsih got the information and he verifies authenticity. SUS help her to submit an application to the legal aid fund on 20 April of 2016 according to the advice of union chairman. 25 April 2016 Anjumanara submitted a case under dowry prevention act and on 28 April she submitted a case to the family court. It is noted that the Legal Aid officer of PESEAJ project Mahbubul Alam helps her to submit the application and put up the cases. Now Farid Mia understands the power of law. He becomes desperate to continue their conjugal life. He begs help to the uncle of complainant. Meanwhile the Anjumanara wants to continue her conjugal life with Farid Mian considering the future of her boys. 1 June of 2016 a Shalish has been performed aging. Farid Mia gives 10 decimal lands by registry to Anjumanara and they register their marriage again by fixing 3 lakh taka dowry. Salishi took decision that Anjumanara will withdraw the case by appearing the court. SUS, Dhurail union parishod chairman, and Dhurail legal aid committee is so happy for their successful initiative to continue conjugal life of Dulal and Anjumanara. As a result Dulal and Anjumanara got stunning life and ensure the children’s future.
