Workshop between Agriculture producers and businessmen and Rural Agriculture Fair

An Agriculture Fairs along with workshop was held at Panchkahonia primary school field on 18 March 2014 by the initiative of “Alternative Livelihood Options (ALO)” project and coordination of 18 groups of Amtola, Rouha and Mougati unions with a view to make relationship between agriculture producer groups and agriculture businessmen so that the farmers can produce their products with low cost and they also get the proper prices of their products. The chief guest of the fair was Krishibid Moniruzzaman, upazila agriculture officer, Netrakona sadar upazila, Netrakona. The special guests of the fair were Abdur  Rahman, chairman, Amtola union parishad, Abdul Hye, chairman, Rouha union parishad, Dr. Amolendu Ghosh, upazila livestock officer, sadar upazila, Md. Abdur Rouf, senior fishery officer, sadar upazila, sub-assistant agriculture officer Babul Chakraborti, Deopur block, Mufazzal Hossain, Rouha block, Altabur Rahman, president, Krishak League, sadar upazila, Asadul Islam Asad, president and Abdul Hye, secretary, District agriculture producer association, Netrakona, Uzzal Kumar Datta, regional field coordinator, Development Wheel and Saidul Islam, field motivator, SUS, Netrakona. 20 agriculture businessmen, 20 middlemen and 18 president, general secretary, organizing secretary, treasurer of agriculture producer association and other elites of the area also participated in the fair. Everybody appreciated the initiative of SUS.
